How does ranking work on Bidboard?
Rank on Bidboard is determined mathematically by the total verified USD spend. There are zero editorial algorithms, upvote manipulation rings, or shadowbans. The highest cumulative verified bidder holds the #1 spot, and subsequent spots are ordered descending strictly by total spend.
How long does my ranking position last?
It depends on the active board: on the All-time board, your rank is held permanently until a competitor outbids your spend. On Today's Sprint, ranks track bids placed within the current UTC day (resets daily at 00:00 UTC). Weekly boards reset Mondays at midnight UTC, and Monthly boards reset on the 1st of every month at midnight UTC.
How do Delta Upgrades (Re-Bids) work?
If your listing is displaced by a higher bidder, you don't have to pay from scratch. Re-submitting the identical URL calculates the difference (delta) between what you already paid and your new target bid. You only pay the incremental amount to climb to your desired rank.
What is the $1.00 #1 outbid requirement?
To take the reigning #1 crown position on any board, your bid must exceed the current leader by at least $1.00 USD. For ranks #2 through #100, any amount exceeding the minimum threshold for that rank slot will immediately secure your placement.
What links and content can I submit?
You can submit SaaS products, startups, personal portfolios, newsletters, developer tools, GitHub repositories, and verified X (Twitter) handles. We strictly prohibit malware, phishing, fraudulent tokens, adult/NSFW content, and direct chat links. Violations are removed without refund.
How are unique clicks counted and verified?
Outbound clicks route through our secure redirect gate (/go/[id]). We use one-way cryptographic HMAC hashes with rolling daily salt to deduplicate unique human visitors per day. Bot crawlers, scrapers, and rapid repeated refreshes are automatically filtered out.
Are bids and placements refundable?
No. All purchases on Bidboard purchase instantaneous digital attention placements and are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. Getting outbid, board rollover resets, or received click volumes do not qualify for refunds.
How are checkout payments processed?
All payment transactions are handled securely through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant partners (including Whop). Bidboard never receives, handles, or stores raw payment card numbers or banking credentials.
